A big thank you to all my friends who have dropped me smses and msn messages to wish me happy birthday! It was a pretty good day and the whole day I was at work - I am really glad that no firefighting was required :)
Dinner was good too - My good friends treated me to Jumbo Seafood and we were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures lah! Had my virgin trip to T3 after the dinner and this place is really huge! My legs were aching by the time I walked to the other end of the terminal!
Ok, I am pretty good at long distances walking, but I am only 90% recovered from my back sprain. Need to train my back and my legs more often after I recovered.
So what's my birthday wish? I hope I'll have a good and fruitful year ahead, as well as better health :)
It has really been while that I had laughed this much.. I miss the good old times that we had in the old office pantry where we chit-chated and ate our tapao lunch. I remember we usually laughed so loudly that my then-Admin Manager will slam her door as we were disturbing her afternoon lunch-time nap.
The whole gang of us celebrated JT's promotion yesterday at Sun with Moon and we had a private room all to ourselves! I think the restaurant manager must be glad that she did so as we were really loud when we were laughing over some of the recent (and not so recent) happenings.
Dinner was good as you can see... We were so hungry that after we had the sashimi, we were all attacking the appetiser without taking pictures until Kel and I constantly remind ourselves to take pictures of the main course!
The gang also celebrated both my and Geri's birthday. It has also been awhile that I last had a birthday cake - singing the birthday song at this age can be quite embarrasing! Last year, the chaps rang me up on my birthday and sang the birthday song over the phone...
I really treasure the friendship we have in this office and this is what has been keeping me rooted to this organisation, apart from my passion for NE...
